Game -12

The theme of the day was the Revolutionary War, in light of our first Independence Day game. We figured that the NYPD would not take it to lightly if we reenacted the war in Circle Park, especially with muskets. So we did what we usually do and play Softball, almost as American as Baseball and Barbecues.

After soliciting our players, we discovered that Audrey had a bit of British blood so she was a shoo-in for captain of the "Brits". All American Courtney was the leader of the "Yanks".

The irony was the "Brits" one this tight battle on the steaming hot, field of glory. Okay it was just Circle Park and not as nostalgic as we are making it out to be.
